Bombay Chicken Biryani
Ingredients:
1 cup oil
3 chopped onions
3-4 chopped tomatoes
1 packet Bombay Chicken Biryani Mix
1 kg chicken with bones
2 tablespoons ginger-garlic paste
1 cup sour yogurt
2 potatoes
3 cups basmati rice
Coriander leaves, green chilies
Ghee
Instructions:
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the chopped onions until golden brown.
Set aside half of the onions. Add the chopped tomatoes to the remaining
onions and fry until soft.
- Add the
Bombay Chicken Biryani Mix to the pan.
- Add chicken
and ginger-garlic paste. Fry the mixture until the chicken is cooked.
- Add sour
yogurt and potatoes, cover, and cook until the potatoes are soft.
- In another
pot, boil water with salt and cook the rice. Drain the water from the rice
once it’s cooked.
- In a large
pot, spread a layer of rice, then top it with the cooked chicken mixture.
Add green chilies, coriander leaves, and the reserved fried onions.
- Drizzle some
ghee over the top, cover the pot, and cook on low heat for 30-40 minutes.
- Serve hot and enjoy your delicious biryani!
