Sindhi Mutton Biryani

Ingredients:

  1.  3 cups Basmati rice
  2.  1 cup oil
  3.  2 chopped onions
  4.  1 kg mutton
  5.  2 tbsp ginger paste, 2 tbsp garlic paste
  6.  2 large potatoes
  7.  1 packet Keriburk Sindhi Mutton Biryani Mix
  8.  2 tomatoes
  9.  15 green chilies
  10.  1 cup coriander leaves
  11.  1 cup mint leaves
  12.  ½ cup sour yogurt


Instructions:

  1. Rinse the Basmati rice and cook it in a pot with water and salt, until it’s 70% cooked. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large pot, heat oil and fry the onions until golden brown. Add mutton and ginger paste, and sauté.
  3. Add potato pieces, garlic paste, and sour yogurt.
  4. Add the Keriburk Sindhi Mutton Biryani Mix and mix well.
  5. Sauté everything well, then add some water and cover the pot.
  6. After a few minutes, add chopped tomatoes, green chilies, coriander leaves, and mint leaves.
  7. Add the partially cooked rice on top.
  8. Cover and cook on low heat for 40 minutes.
  9. Once done, remove from heat and serve.
